Sam hears his friend during his programming but does not see him until he has escaped from the planet Veltrex Eta. It begins with one of the main characters mentioned above in his kidnapped state of mind. The author explains the details of his capture, the things that he is feeling and what this will mean to his life now and in the future. We feel ourselves experiencing his transformation from a normal young man into a super being of incomprehensible magnitude. Sam being shot in the back of his neck with some alien drug immobilizes him and is dragged like a sack of potatoes to a van by a mob like council from the organization of super powered aliens. Zadator is a leader in the programming of his people and human beings but the council has tried for a long time to gain control. They have failed through the efforts of Zadator and his confidants and will always fail as long as Zadator is around. Sam's horrifying experience becomes the most unbelievable most important event in the history of earth and its inhabitance.

By the 4th century AD Britain was witnessing the break down of Roman identity and by the mid-6th century a number of kingdoms had been created which paved the way for the Germanic take-over.
